SPACEX
ORBITAL REFUELING

MAKING COMPLEX SPACE SYSTEMS IMMEDIATELY UNDERSTANDABLE

(Design)

I designed a graphic language to make Starship’s orbital refueling architecture legible to non-specialist audiences without diluting the engineering. The system used stark silhouettes, clean orbital diagrams, high-contrast typography, and narrative compression to turn a complex aerospace operation into a clear sequence of decisions, mechanics, and consequences.

Built to extend across decks, motion, social, and future mission communication, it treated refueling not as spectacle but as infrastructure: the enabling logic behind deep-space capability.

SPACEX SYSTEM COMPRESSION STUDY - ORBITAL REFUELING AS BRAND LOGIC

SpaceX logo arms reinterpreted as tanker + outbound Starship, compressing orbital refueling into a 17-second visual system.
